Chocolate Cupcake Recipes
These are a chocolate version of spring cupcakes. Make chocolate cupcakes and top with chocolate buttercream. I use butter, icing sugar and organic cocoa all mixed together. Spread on top of a cupcake and top with simple bought flower decorations. Thanks to everyone who has been to the blog and also to my other food blogs. I am hoping to get them all going again. Well it is ages since I did some Cupcake Posts and I have started to get withdrawal symptoms! So I decided to make some cupcakes. It is raining here in the UK and a good day for baking. So I made cupcakes as well as some old favourites ginger cake and fruity polenta cake. The Spring cupcakes are for friends . They are basic vanilla cupcakes with lemon icing and some decorations from Tesco. Quick easy to do and pretty as well as tasty.
More chocolate animals. This is a frog. Again something for a kids party. I think you can get sets to make your chocolate shapes. Has anyone tried this or can recommend this? This is a chocolate bear that I got from a chocolate shop. I just thought it looked great on a cupcake.This would be great for a party. In the background a friend from Canada. I felt like a bit of indulgence, chocolate cupcakes. I made a batch which were a great texture. These are decorated with lemon flavoured butter cream with chocolate sprinkles.
