While the jury may still be out on dangers – parents might want to caution their children.
“Developing brains, people who are going to have more exposure over time and for those reasons you know, I think you could make an argument for being somewhat more cautious,” he added. The Environmental Working Group, a Washington DC-based consumer watchdog, has now rated cell phones based on the amount of radiation they emit. Drew Kaltenbaugh, a student, takes some precautions using his cell phone. “I try not to sleep with it near me – because I think that having it around you 24/7 is bad for you,” he said.
